Tayler Malsam enjoyed a solid first full-time season in the NASCAR Truck Series in 2009, stringing together eight top ten finishes in 25 starts with Randy Moss Motor sports. Now, as 2010 arrives, Kyle Busch Motorsports will be looking to the Washington native to lead KBM’s drive toward a series championship.
Malsam will be racing the No. 56 Toyota in 2010.
If what he showed in 2009 is an indicator, big things are in store for Malsam at KBM in 2010. Malsam accomplished one of the key things young drivers must do early in their career in 2009 - be in the race at the end. Malsam finished all but three races in 2009. He was especially strong during a five-race stretch in which he finished no worse than 12th.
Both Malsam and KBM enter 2010 looking to take that next step. Given their desires for success and victory, the combination should yield some good results.
